Description CAMRA York City Pub of the Season 2010. The Victoria Hotel has been run by Ian Leach & Adele Greenhough for the last few years and they have really improved it in their time here.  It’s easy to overlook the street-corner local in amongst the competition, which is stiff in the immediate area, never mind the city as a whole.  It appeals to a wide mix of customers of all ages and is just a short distance from York’s Wall, York Minster and other tourist attractions.  It’s very comfortable; the single spacious bar is well decorated and offers distinct drinking areas.  There are there are three Old Mill beers here, which include two regulars and one seasonal special. Ian and Adele signed up to the LocAle and got right behind the scheme from the start and have continued to support it ever since.  You’re guaranteed a good reception and great beer here.
